How to build a shelter

Do you know how to make shelters?  Well here you go, what you need and how to build them.

So a few week ago Les, Maisy's dad came in to teach us about differant ways to build shelters.  He told us what equipment we need so here is a list of what equipment is need:

Hammers
Pegs
Wood/poles
Flint and slate to make fires
Tablets
Water/drink
Pocket knife
Food
First aid kit
Sleeping bag
Cumpus
Binoculars
Leaves

He told us not to camp near a river on a rainy day because once he did and they got flooded so theres a tip.

The best place to camp in the night is in a tree because animals could get you like snakes and poisonous things.

Now we are going to tell you how to make a shelter.  We told you what equipment you will need, so you will need about 50 sticks ( all the same size).  Then you will need to collect loads of leaves and put them over all the wood to keep it quite dry.  After that you can put everything in it's place.  If you want to be a bit more safe from little creatures from biting you.  It will be safer to put a net or any matirial over the front entrance to keep you away from wild animals.  So after that you will have your very own shelter ready for the night.

When survival camping in a jungle you will most likely to see hippos, elephants, bears, raccoons, owls, skunks, rabbits, rats, squirrels, maskitos, bees and wasps.
